Rare “42” style top inlay with an exceptionally fine grain spruce top and quarter sawn Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Martin Concept J cutaway (1998) Exc.- cond. except for the ding. Ser. #644691 Well, this is about as flashy as Martin gets with a metallic blue, purplish red finish (it changes in the light), a cutaway in a M style body with built in electronics. Gold Martin tuners, ebony fret board with hexagram inlays, and an inlaid ebony bridge plus abalone rosette. This limited edition has maple back and sides and a slim fast neck with great set up and action. Excellent condition overall except one chip in the finish about 2 inches long (see photo). Comes with original papers and OHSC.

Waterloo by Collings (new, WL-14X TR, serial #093) Collings has done a great job a recreating the great L-00 style Gibson guitars from the ‘30’s. This sunburst Waterloo has the X bracing and truss rod which the more expensive Gibsons had back in the day. It also has a dot neck ebony fretboard with 1 3/4” nut, sunburst top, rectangular bridge with through saddle, and the striped pickguard typical of the era. It has a comfortable V shaped mahogany neck, and the clear, powerful tone with a distinct bite to it associated with these guitars. OHSC

Case for D’Angelico 17” Excel (probably mid 1930s). Alligator style exterior finish with standard vintage green interior (same material as the Loar cases). All latches work. See photo for interior wear - most likely from a pickup knob on a pickguard at some point in time.
