After winning the seventh annual Premio Visa de Musica
Brasileira award in 2004 for the best instrumentalist (on any
instrument) in all Brazil, 19 year old Danilo Brito went into
one of the top studios in Sao Paulo and recorded Perambulando.
Playing 12 tracks on mandolin and one on tenor guitar he was
supported by some of the finest choro musicians in the country,
both young and old. They include Luizinho on 7 string guitar
(dig those bass runs!), Marco Bertaglia on Classic guitar, Milton
Mori on cavaquinho, and Marcelo Gallani on pandeiro. Toninho
Ferragutti plays accordian on Danilo's own incredible composition
"Sussuarana" and the great Altamiro Carrilho plays
flute on the Pixinguinha piece "Recordacoes".
Don't miss this virtuoso playing of the highest order - it
won't fail to lift your spirits!
