Collings SJ BaaaG SB (new) The SJ style is one of our true favorites from Collings and this one is no exception. With extremely rare quarter sawn “aaa” old growth Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a lovely German spruce top set off with a custom sunburst, this guitar has both warmth and power. The bound ebony fingerboard has a 1 11/16” nut and a traditional “42” style diamonds and snowflake inlay. The bound headstock has a Brazilian overlay with custom open back, gold plated Waverly tuners. Super comfortable neck and great action. OHSC

Top grade European spruce soundboard and deeply flamed maple back, sides, and neck all set off in ivoroid binding and a spectacular sunburst. Bound headstock with ebony overlay and inlaid SCGC logo, gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons, bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl deco inlays, bound ebony pickguard with floating Bartolini pickup and tone and volume controls, and deluxe custom “six finger” gold plated tailpiece. Very comfortable neck, great action and warm well balanced tone with plenty of volume. OHSC

Gilchrist model 5C (used 2005 exc.- cond.) Ser.# 05589 Rich, full sound and great workmanship. The hand carved top is Engelmann spruce with tone bars (Loar style) and the one piece back, sides, and neck are very well flamed maple. Triple bound on all edges in black-white-black and finished in a beautiful amber varnish – trademarks of the Gilchrist classic style. Arched ebony fretboard without inlay (side dots for reference), 1 1/8” nut in bone (original mop nut included) adjustable ebony bridge, custom black tuning machines and hinged tailpiece, and tortoise shell style tailpiece with traditional clamp to secure it. Ellis A-5 Deluxe (new) Ser. #251 Very powerful and well balanced with plenty of Bluegrass “bark”. Very even grained red spruce top with very well flamed maple back (one piece), sides, and neck. Bound headstock with ebony overlay and inlaid Ellis logo and custom fern pattern, Elite tuners with ivoroid buttons, bound ebony fretboard with dot inlay (arched), bound ebony pickguard, adjustable ebony bridge, and custom engraved tailpiece. Custom features include the cutaway, gold Waverly tuners, abalone inlaid rosette, and “42” style diamonds and snowflake fingerboard inlay. It has a standard 1 11/16” nut on the bound ebony fretboard, a bound headstock with Brazilian rosewood overlay and mop Collings logo, tortoise shell style pickguard, and ebony bridge with bone saddle. Custom features include a 1 23/32” nut, bound peghead with distinct Brazilian overlay, gold Waverly tuners, and bound ebony fretboard with small diamond and square inlays. Herringbone top trim, ivoroid binding, tortoise shell style pickguard, and ebony bridge. Very comfortable, soft “V” neck with great action. OHSC
