#2298	Santa Cruz Guitar Co. D 12 fret style 45 custom Serial # 2500 (used, near mint) This is one of the finest and fullest sounding SCGC guitars we have ever had. It is custom in many ways including dead vertical, close grain, old growth, quarter sawn Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a beautiful German spruce soundboard. It has the “45” style abalone inlay on the top, back, and sides as well as a diamonds and snowflake fingerboard inlay with 1 13/16” nut. Instead of a slot head, it has a solid headstock for ease of string changing and a torch inlay into a Brazilian rosewood overlay for even more beauty. Carved spruce top with “X” bracing, very nicely flamed maple back, sides and neck, bound ebony fretboard (1 ¾” nut) with block mop inlays, bound peghead with script logo and flowerpot inlay, Grover Imperial tuning machines, adjustable Brazilian rosewood bridge, bound pickguard, and engraved, gold plated L-5 tailpiece. #2261	Gibson L-5 (1925) Very good +++ cond. This Master Model label L-5 from the first year after the Loar era has the distinct advantage over the Loars with it’s considerably more comfortable neck and beautifully flamed maple back, sides, and neck (instead of birch). This definitely qualifies as one of the best sounding L-5’s we have ever had from any era and has great action and playability. The bound peghead has a strong angle “The Gibson” logo, traditional flowerpot inlay, and original gold plated tuners with solid mother of pearl buttons. Bound fretboard with dot inlay, gold plated trapeze tailpiece, bound and patent dated tortoise shell style pickguard, and adjustable ebony bridge that is also patent dated. #2106	Collings OM-42 BaaaG cutaway varnish (new) Wow! We finally got in a varnish and it is beautiful in all respects. The quartersawn "aaa" Brazilian is exactly what you would expect from the highest grade Martin's from the 1930's and the 25 year old German spruce top is of the highest grade and it shows both visually and tonally with richness and power. A 1 3/4" nut makes the guitar great for fingerstyle and both the ebony fretboard and the Brazilian rosewood overlaid peghead are bound in ivoroid and the top has an abalone rosette and the "42" style abalone border. The elegant cutaway gives easy access to the upper registers and the treble has a particularly responsive singing tone up there.
